February sampling... not very cold!

Last weekend, we did our February sampling for our mud crab / parasite prevalence / salinity gradient surveys in the Pamlico and Neuse estuaries. It went well, and we collected more seasonal data for our ongoing project. While many people were experiencing blizzard conditions, we were in upper 70 degree weather. It was very strange, but hard to really complain since there is a lot of putting hands into water as part of this work. Pictures below!
