Recent talks and posters at conferences by the Blakeslee lab!

Recently our lab participated in several local, regional, and national/international conferences, including the Benthic Ecology Meeting, ECU's Research and Creativity Achievement Week (RCAW), and the Atlantic Estuarine Research Society (AERS). Our most recent conference at AERS saw 2 of the 4 student awards go to students (Collin Love and Tim Lee) associated with our lab. Huzzah!! I am very proud of my students and all the amazing work they've been doing. Pictures below!

A conference is a great activity wherein people get to acquire new connections. In politics, knowing a lot of people is important. Well, if you think about it, isn't everything in this world similar to politics? Working in a company is not as simple as you might think. If you really want to rise to the ranks, then you need a lot of backing from the people inside the company. Social skills are very important to achieve great things in life.
